The organization announces following vacancies opening for qualified Nepali nationals to conduct a Mental Health and Psychosocial Need Assessment.
Job Title: Translator/Data assistant
Required No: 1
Work Station: Kathmandu
Duration: Two months
Starting Date: ASAP
Role and Responsibilities
- Translation of qualitative interviews and other related documents from Nepali into English
- Data compilation and coding of qualitative data
- Data entry
- Assist in report writing
Required qualifications, knowledge and experiences
- Must be at least Bachelor's Degree in relevant field such as psychology, public health and social science
- Must have excellent command in spoken and written English and Nepali language
- Knowledge on data analysis programs such as SPSS, NVivo would be an asset
- Good command on English and Nepali language with both English and Nepali typing skills
- Should have at least 1 year prior experience in Nepali to English and English to Nepali translation
- Preference will be given to those having experience in psychosocial/mental health
