One of our clients, a leading ‘A’ Class Commercial Bank requires Training Officer for Kathmandu area. Please find further details below:

Job Description:

  • Liaising with managers and interviewing employees at all levels to identify and assess training and development needs
  • Delivering/overseeing the delivery of training to individuals or groups of employees
  • Implementing, advising about and monitoring appraisal schemes
  • Supervising and monitoring progress made via training programs or schemes
  • Ensuring employees receive statutory required training

Job Specification:

Experience:

1)   Extensive experience and interest in training and particularly in Banking and Financial Institutions (BFIs) with knowledge of overall units in BFIs.

2)   Knowledge regarding assessing learning needs, design of curriculum, evaluation of events and assessment of learning outcomes.

Education:

1)      Master’s Degree in Business, or a related field required.

2)      Qualification in Training and Development and Human Resources

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong / effective communication skill; effective presentation and interpersonal communication skills
  • Highly developed, demonstrated teamwork skills
  • Good leadership quality with proven ability of negotiation and time management
  • Demonstrated ability to continuously improve methods and approaches for betterment
  • Coordinating with external training agencies for training planning and execution
  • Ability to keep records and work within budgets
  • Basic computer and IT Skills
  • Manage and handle participants / employees
  • Capacity to take & work under pressurized environment
