Software Engineer

JOB SUMMARY:

NARMA/InfoTradeTech Nepal is seeking both experienced and fresher Software Engineers who can be part of our Application Development team. Thedevelopers will be part of a team that has been delivering Software as Services for multi sectoral government and non-government organization and work totransform their functional requirements to deliver Mobile, Web and Desktop Applications Platform. He or she will design, develop, test, and maintain the software from inception to the production system. The Software Engineer will perform full software lifecycle support from design and coding, through operations and maintenance activities.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·            Monitor the application on the Tomcat Server Maintenance of current software baseline.

·            Deploy new applications and manage releases.

·            Analysis, design, coding, testing, and implementation of new software enhancements.

·            Perform all application administration for the project (Add/Delete users, monitor process logs, etc.)

·            Code using Java,php, HTML5 and SQL queries.

·            Applies object Modeling Approaches using UML and Scenario generation.

·            Experience with an Agile Process.

·            Able to present new functionality to Users/Customers at Review Meetings and Product Demo.

·            Develop/Code new features and bug fixes.

·            Interface with client and troubleshooting issues arise.

·            Mentor, develop and conduct presentations, maintain schedules and foster a professional team working   relationship in an Agile Development process driven environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

·            Bachelor's degree in related technical discipline (or equivalent work experience)

·            2 years with software development lifecycle.

·            2 years of Java experienceusing Java/J2EE, web service.

·            Object Oriented Java programming

·            Eclipse IDE, Spring Framework API

·            Experience with any of the following: GWT, GXT, Spring Framework

·            JavaScript, JUnit, Apache Tomcat, SQL and/or HTML/CSS,Php

·            GUI design using Java or a JavaScript library such as JQuery

·            Database Management/Development – MySQL, Oracle, MS Sql Server-

·            Self- motivated, creative, willing to work as a member of a team, organized and able to manage individual schedule.

·            Nice to Have “Android Mobile Development Experience”
