Software Engineer

S/he will be responsible to design, implement and monitor complex databasesand also strengthen the architecture of solution, while working on existing business intelligence stack. S/he will be responsible to design and develop multiple layers of our applications, and coordinate with team and across teams on different layers of the infrastructure. 

TITLE: Software Engineer / Senior Software Engineer

REQUIREMENTS

• Good understanding of computer software, databases and programming
• Comprehensive understanding of programming and database internals
• Knowledge of different E-Commerce Platforms (Amazon, Magento, Yahoo Store, Google Shopping etc)
• Ability to create specific libraries using API's to extract, load and manipulate data.
• Proficiency in the following skills and technologies is mandatory
  • Pythonwith Object Oriented mindset
  • Web frameworks: MVC, Flask, Django
  • RDBMS (SQL Server, SQLite, MySQL), NoSQL (MongoDB)
  • Web API, REST, JSON, XML
  • VCS (Git), Bash, Powershell
  • Ad-hoc scripting, test automation
• Proficiency in the following technologies is desired but not mandatory
  • C#, PHP
  • Data scrapping and crawling frameworks
• Good communication skills in English and Nepali.
• Willing to work off-hours preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
• Ensure highest level of commitment forbest possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address the issues
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
• A cultivated commitment to testing every aspects of the code
• Should provide support in all phases of SDLC and ensure to deliver high-quality products.
• Work closely with our data team to integrate your amazing innovations and algorithms to our production systems.
• Support the client-support team when needed with technical or feature aspects
• Maintain strict confidentiality of your work
• Communicate proactively and effectively with team members, leads, management, and clients where necessary
• Assist in creating a friendly, entrepreneurial and A+ corporate culture in Nepal

Education: B.E, B.Sc, Computer Science, Information Science, Mathematics or equivalent.

Experience: Prior 2 years’ experience in a relevant field would be preferred and favorable.
