Senior Java Developer (2)
Senior Java Developer is accountable for providing technical direction to others and capable of leading technical projects with a high level of quality. One is responsible for analysis, design, implementation, and unit testing to produce high-quality code in their business area and will use industry best practices while serving as a role model and mentor in a team of high-performing professionals. One will contribute beyond assigned tasks in developing innovative solutions and fostering high team morale, maintaining and supporting mission-critical applications as necessary. Senior Java Developer is expected to mentor software developers and continually contribute to process improvement activities.
We are looking for someone who:
•Has Passion for new technologies, self-directed learning, and ability to share and introduce new ideas into team environment.
•Is a self-starter, a great learner and a good communicator.
•Pays attention to detail/analysis, and enjoys problem-solving. Writes and ships great code that's elegant and maintainable.
•Is willing to work in flexible/odd hours.
We are looking for the following qualification:
•Minimum 2 year of professional experience in J2EE web application development.
*Significant experience in one or more of the following technologies: J2EE, Portlet Development, Spring, Hibernate, JSP, JSF, JBoss, JavaScript, GIT as version control and GitHub as repository management tool, Eclipse, High Charts
•Experience with Liferay, Portlet and Amazon ec2 technology stacks is a plus.
•Knowledge and experience of disciplined approach to software development, Test Driven Development, and Agile methodology.
