Fair Trade Group Nepal (FTGN) is looking for qualified candidate for “Sustainable Livelihood Support for Earthquake Affected Families in Nepal” in 5 districts project (Kathmandu,Bhaktapur, Lalitpur, Sindhupalchowk and Nuwakot) :
Job Title: Project Manager/Team Leader (1)
Contract Duration: 1 year (will be extended as per need based)
Job Purpose: Project Manager/Team Leader will be responsible for overall activities of the project and he/she needs to ensure that the activities are in line with time and budget plan. Project Manager/Team Leader will be the focal point for the project and will play a key role in project documentation along with disseminating the learning from the project to the wider audience.
Requirements:
· Masters degree preferably in the field of project management, Social Science or any relevant background
· At least 5 years’ of relevant experience
· Strong English communication and written Skill required for the role
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
· Ability to travel as and when required
· Roles and Responsibilities:
· Coordinate overall project activities
· Ensure that all projects activities are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
· Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
· Ensure resource availability and allocation
· Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
· Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
· Report and escalate to management as needed
· Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
· Ensure the project has a high profile and visibility among the key stakeholder groups
· Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
· Perform risk management to minimize project risks
· Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
· Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
· Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of project
· Coordinate its activities with other similar projects or government programmes in the region
· Provide backstopping and quality assurance and reporting to and liaising with donor
