PHP Developer

Digital Agency Catmandu(DAC) is looking for a PHP Developer with 1+ years experience from working with advanced PHP / MySQL, Ajax / JQuery /JavaScript, to develop web-based applications to support our New York City based client, Pagevamp.

Pagevamp (www.pagevamp.com), a New York City based startup, is the easiest and fastest way to publish a website. Pagevamp allows users to create and update their website from their Facebook Page in one click. Rather than forcing users to learn a whole new site creation and management interface, Pagevamp lets its users update their website from a platform they already know: Facebook. Now anyone can create a good looking and up-to-date website using Pagevamp.

Pagevamp has partnered with DAC to build its Nepal team.

We expect you to have:

• Excellent knowledge of PHP / MySQL / HTML / XHTML / JQuery / JavaScript / XML / JQuery
• The ability to say a few words in English, but we don't expect you to be fluent
• Excellent communication skills and team work 
• Must be hardworking, creative and innovative.
• Must have a sense of responsibility and also, must be a good learner. 
• Want to explore things by themselves until and unless they get stuck badly at some point.

And here's your chance to shine:

• Experience on open source and other frameworks is a HUGE plus
• Knowledge of front end web development (XHTML, CSS), web standards, browser compatibility, is a GREAT asset
• Knowledge of Ajax and JavaScript libraries (Jquery, Prototype) definitely gets you bonus points
