JOB DESCRIPTION
Post : Manager - Commercial
Salary & perks : Commensurate with experiences.
Location : Kathmandu
Reports to : Country Manager
Age : Not more than 40 years
Job Description:
1. Devise mechanisms for controlling of manufacturing costs.
2. Provide higher management with detailed cost information and advise how to cut down the operational costs based on efficiency and capabilities.
3. Ensuring for optimum utilization of inventory resources.
4. Collect and analyze production, maintenance and inventory control data to forecast expenses and budgets.
5. Evaluate and ascertain monthly production costs, gains & losses.
6. Forecast, prepare and implement a plant's budget and tracking budgetary compliance.
7. Create and review the controls needed for data accumulation and reporting systems.
8. Review Standard and Actual Cost for inaccuracies.
9. Report on breakeven points by products, work centres and factories.
10. Report on periodic variances and their causes.
11. Present key product cost data to top management on regular basis.
12. Prepare accurate and meaningful reports on cost analyses & cost factor recommendation.
13. Establish and ensure adherence of proper cost standards.
14. Cost Audit of Production Unit, Sales Depots and Sales Scheme Audit.
15. Oversee functions of Supply Chain.
Required skills and competencies:
1. CWA (Cost & Works Accountant) or CA from a reputed university of India or Nepal.
2. 3-5 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing sector.
3. Strong commercial negotiation skills.
4. Ability to work with ambiguous tasks and handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
5. Excellent analytical skills.
6. Well organized with strong attention to detail.
7. Understanding of database principles.
8. Excellent communicating, reporting and presentation skills.
9. Strong proficiency with Microsoft PC applications.
