Suvidha Sewa invites applications from qualified and competent candidates to work as Jr. Officer-Accounts and Admin in its HO, Kathmandu. Details for the same has been outlined below. 

Position: Jr. Officer-Accounts and Admin

Reports to: Officer-Accounts and Admin/Sr. Officer-Accounts and Admin

 

Job Description:

  • Collect quotations from different suppliers, prepare comparative chart and recommend for selection of vendor services. 
  • Purchase/acquire approved office supplies / goods / equipment from the suppliers and make sure that they are available when required.   
  • Maintain office inventory and manage store effectively;  
  • Ensure quality goods are supplied by the suppliers; 
  • Record office supplies, vehicle, furniture and equipment in the stock ledger and bin card properly;  
  • Make sure that all the bills of electricity, telephone, fax, email and drinking water have been paid timely;
  • Ensure timely payment to all the creditors.
  • Record all business transactions and maintain cash disbursement and cash receipt logs;
  • Maintain computer records of all budgets, income/expenditure statements and other relevant financial accounts;
  • Prepare TDS statement, submit E-TDS, VAT report.
  • Visit Tax Office for tax related services.
  • Process all the day to day financial transactions (raise vouchers and input in the system). 
  • Reconciliation of Cash Book, bank accounts etc.   
  • Ensure that receivables are received in time. 
  • Handling of Petty cash and reconcile the same on a daily basis. 
  • Provide financial reports as and when required by the supervisor.
  • Extend help in preparing the audit report.   

 

Job Specification:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related area,
  • Good accounting and admin knowledge
  • Knowledge on Tally
  • Expertise in managing day to day routine and ability to work under pressure. 
  • Good communication skills and knowledge of both written and verbal English and Nepali are essential.  
  • Positive attitude 
  • Work in team and support others in the organization 
  • Give regular feedbacks to the Admin Officer and Finance Officer and assist him/her in the smooth operation of the concerned department.  
  • Candidates with two wheeler driving license preferred
