KASARA JUNGLE RESORT is a luxury resort in Patihani, Chitwan, and an extensive project under Yeti Group of Companies.  The resort is currently hiring and invites applications for the following key position, based in Chitwan.

Job Title: Food & Beverage Executive

No. of vacancies: 1 (Male/Female)

Job Location: Chitwan

General Objectives:

1. Customer-Service: Food and beverage executive might have to interact with customers. Being friendly and courteous will help keep customers coming back.
2. Attention to Detail: Food and beverage executive have to keep their eyes on a lot of elements: food standards, costs, safety, etc.
3. Leadership: Food and beverage executive must be leaders in the back of house, rallying their team during heavy shifts, resolving conflicts and getting the job done.
4. Management Skills: Food and beverage executive not only deal with food, they also have to deal with costs, pricing, creating work schedules and more.
5. Organizational Skills: Keeping work schedules, shipments, cleaning schedules and more organized is crucial to the job.
6. Problem-Solving Skills: Dealing with employee conflict, irate customers and wrong stock orders is part of a food and beverage executive’s job. Being able to come up with a solution quickly is a needed skill.
7. Speaking Skills: Food and beverage executive need to accurately and easily communicate standards and cooking methods to staff, give orders and speak with customers clearly.
8. Stamina: Food and beverage executive can expect long days around hot cooking elements, much of it on their feet.

Required Qualifications and Skills for the above Positions: 

• Masters in Food Service Management/ Hotel Management or similar
• At least three to five years’ experience in related field  
• Dependable, the ability to prioritize work and complete tasks quickly and efficiently
• The ability to work in a challenging environment
• Good command in written and spoken English and Nepali (Additional foreign language skills an advantage )
• Must have computer skills
