Job Description / Responsibilities:  

To work alongside other team members in promoting property, generate and close sales leads, and conducting PR activities for Bougainvilla in the events, conference, banquet sectors. 

Specific Job Skills: 

  • Able to communicate via verbal and written media.
  • Able to comfortably use social media for PR and sales generation
  • Understands and can plan how to meet sales targets set for them. 
  • Coordinating guest experience between Sales and Operations teams
  • Customer development
  • Meet sales targets/ Generate leads/ Convert Leads into Business/ Cold Call/Develop Potential Clients Database. Strong interpersonal and communication skills 

Computer skills: Must be adept in use of MS Office 2000 or later, particularly Internet, social media use and email. 

Desired profile of the candidate  

Personality: Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality and business profit. A natural forward planner who critically assesses own performance. Mature, credible, and comfortable in dealing with senior big company executives. Reliable, tolerant, and determined

Well presented and businesslike. Sufficiently mobile and keen for new experience, responsibility and accountability. Able to get on with others and be a team-player.

Business and Selling Skills: Must be an excellent face-to-face and telephone communicator. Able to demonstrate success and experience managing major accounts customers and large contracts or even a business, particularly achieving genuine sales development. 

Ideal background would be in hospitality services; experience in MICE with extensive contacts among the travel trade, corporate sectors and INGO, UN sectors also preferred. 

Literacy and Numeracy: Must be a very competent writer of business letters, quotations and proposals. 

Mobility: Must have personal means of transport within valley.  

Prior experience of working in Nepal with sales and marketing dealing with MICE recommended.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION: B.A. in Hotel Management or equivalent
