Associate Software Engineer /Software Engineer 

REQUIREMENTS

• Good communication skills in both spoken and written English
• Must have 1-2 years of web development experience using PHP and MySQL (Sub-queries, JOIN, UNION)
• Must have skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (like: jQuery, Ajax, Cookies) 
• Skills in PHP frameworks such as Laravel and open-source CMS like Wordpress are preferable 
• Knowledge of ecommerce software/platform and Web Services (SOAP) would be plus point
• Experience with any version control system such as: GIT/SVN would be plus point
• Passionate about learning and self-motivated; drive to contribute ideas and share knowledge proactively; must be a team player.
• Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work on Agile Scrum development environment
• Report generation and validation using MySQL Sub-queries, JOIN, UNION etc.
• Service installations and bug fixing/maintenance task on online stores with various ecommerce platforms (Yahoo, BigCommerce, 3dCart, Magento).
• Theme installation and minor CSS fixing
• Reliably estimate time expectations and co-ordinate with other teams in the company for prioritization and related bugs and features.
• Excel under tight deadlines, and proactively communicate with team members and managers.
