Details / requirements:
Job title: .Web Designer
Hours: Full Time
Location: Kathmandu. No travel required Purpose of the position is to interpret client’s needs and express those needs and goals in graphic form for web display and distribution.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
· Conceptualizing the UX and creating high end visual UI designs for the same.
· Creating high quality creative concepts and development in fast-paced, energetic environment. Utilizing software or tools like Photoshop, fireworks or others to transform the UX, graphical concepts or wireframes into design images.
· Passion for designing using modern web practices like HTML5/Css3, less, jQuery, Sass, css frameworks
· Ability to customize the templates or themes of some open source technologies like drupal, wordpress, joomla is preferable.
· Extremely strong, quick and effective verbal as well as written communication skills.
· Working collaboratively and effectively within the team.
Competencies:
· Bachelor's degree in computer applications, computer science or equivalent.
·· Proficiency in writing markups using xhtml/css, html5/css3 and scripting in javascript, jQuery.
· A moderate knowledge in PHP, MySql and open source technologies like Drupal, Wordpress and Joomla! Knowledge of responsive web design techniques and modern web technologies like less, Saas and node is a plus.
· Knowledge of frameworks like BootStrap is a plus.
