A team of established International Non-Governmental Organizations working in Nepal hereby invites applications from interested candidates for the following full time positions for a DFID Funded opportunity in Nepal on Women’s Economic Empowerment (Sabalaa) for a period of 5.5 years which is expected to start by April 2017.

Position: Team Leader

Key responsibilities: The Team Leader will be accountable for the overall leadership and accountable for delivering results on behalf of the Consortium. S/he will be accountable for the project’s operational, financial, and administrative priorities; direct the planning and budgeting processes and create or adapt management systems in line with organizational standard operating procedures, ensuring consistency with project needs. The incumbent will build and maintain productive working relationships with DFID, consortium partners and all key stakeholders. Serve as the primary liaison among all project stakeholders and also design and oversee an annual project cycle in accordance with DFID’s annual planning cycles.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Master’s degree, preferably PhD in Management, Social Science or a relevant field with a minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in international development project management (DFID program management preferred/required),experience as a Team Leader, Chief of Party / Deputy Chief of Party, or senior management experience on women’s economic empowerment
