Radio Drama Writer

Antenna Foundation Nepal (AFN) is seeking for a Female Drama Writer who has a flair for writing and capacity to think creatively and apply them to their radio dramas and PSA/s.Experience of having worked with the knowledge, attitude, and behavior change objectives is an advantage. 

Position Title: Radio Drama Writer 

Location: Antenna Foundation Nepal, Bakhundol, Lalitpur

Salary: As mentioned in appointment letter

Line Manager/reporting: Drama Coordinator

Major Responsibilities:

• Participate in meetings, as necessary, to review the objectives of radio drama and specifically the knowledge, attitude, and behavior change objectives. 
• Participate in story-harvesting visit to representative communities of the target audiences for the drama.
• Produce scripts for each episode. Submit scripts for review and incorporate feedback as necessary until final approval is received.
• Assist Drama Producer on drama writing process. 
• Write scripts individually and in the team for AFN’s radio dramas based on the main story line and sub plots provided by the producer. 
• Make necessary arrangements for recording, co-ordination of drama artists.
• Research and provide background materials for different storylines of the radio drama. 
• Provide creative input to productions of PSAs, promos and radio programmes of AFN.
• Transcribe and provide final recorded scripts of the drama. 
• Perform other duties assigned by Supervisor.
