VSO Nepal has been working in Nepal since 1964 to improve the lives of impoverished people in the poorest districts, particularly focusing on vulnerable women and girls and other marginalised groups.

VSO Nepal is currently implementing Education, Health, Secure Livelihoods, Youth,and Gender programmes along with emergency response projects. 

VSO Nepal is looking for substantially experienced and highly qualified Nepali candidates to apply for the following country office based national positions: 

Project Coordinator- Education -Sisters for Sisters’ Education Project

Reporting to the Programme Implementation Manager - Education, the Project Coordinator is the lead reference point within VSO Nepal programme’s project (DFID funded) in providing information on all programmatic matters including volunteer, partners, finance and beneficiaries; and administer the DFID funded project with NGO partners through monitoring/evaluation of activities undertaken vis-à-vis plans, fund flow management, maintaining monitoring sheet, and ensuring compliances of the programme area financial contractual matters.

You must have Master's degree in the related field along with experience on project implementation through partnership.

Project Officer – Education - Teaching to Learn Project

Reporting to the Project Coordinator (education), the Project Officer will be assisting in implementing the EU funded “Teaching to Learn” project which seeks to improve the quality learning outcomes (specifically reading and numeracy) by marginalised children in grades 1 to 3 through the establishment of a quality teaching and learning environment in Jajarkot and Jumla, and will be the lead reference point for the project in providing information on all programmatic matters including volunteer, partners, finance and beneficiaries in Jumla. 

You must have Bachelor's degree in the related field along with experience on project implementation through partnership.
