DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS

Title of Position: Office Associate

Position Based: Kathmandu 

Position: Few

Position type: Full time

Qualification: BBS (Accounts)

Contract Period: Initially for 1 year with possibility of extension.

Monthly Salary: NRs. 25,000/- + benefit as per HTN policy

REQUIREMENT:

  • At least 2 years work experience in accounting   
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Command in  written and spoken English with Nepali  typing skill
  • Able to ride motorcycle/Scooter with valid driving license.

PURPOSE OF JOB:

  • To provide financial and administrative support to Rebuild Earthquake Damaged Solukhumbu School (REDSS) projects of HTN

PREFERENCE: Female candidate will be given preference

JOB DESCRIPTION:

FINANCE & ADMINSTRATION

  • Collect bills and vouchers and assist to maintain and mange effective filling system in finance and admin office.
  • Handle petty cash in different cash books upon direct supervision of Finance Admin Officer (FAO)
  • Visit banks for bank deposits and other banking transactions.
  • Make journal entry in FAMAS in absence of Finance Admin Officer
  • Inventory Management
  • Assist with the organization and control of the purchase and maintenance of equipment, supplies and stationery
  • Keep record in all incoming and dispatch letters.
  • Support general clerical and administrative duties to support the role
  • Visit the school rebuilding sites in case of need.
  • Assist to maintain the record of staff leave, attendance register etc.
  • Carry out the duties commensurate with the position as may be determined by the FAO and CAO
