Details / requirements:

Job Summary:

Provide the  Maternal and Neonatal Health Quality Improvement training package to approximately 9 trainees. The trainer will provide the clinical update training on maternal and newborn health, key components for MNH service including training/clinical demonstrations on use of partograph for progress of labour and early identification of complication and referal,management of PPH/AMTSL/severe eclampsia & eclampsia, neonatal resuscitation and immediate essential newborn care and standard precautions for infection prevention practices. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilites:

  • Co-facilitate the Maternal and Neonatal Health Clinical update training, including clinical demonstration.
  • Provide a detailed training report to Internaional Medical Corps.

Minimum Education and Qualification:

  • SBA trained BN/Bsc Nursing (SBA trainers would be of preference)
  • Well acquainted with the Maternal and Neonatal Health Clinical Update Manual by the MoHP
  • Experience in conducting training workshop
  • Technical expertise in the components of integrated reproductive health, quality improvement, and other selected RH/FP services
  • Excellent facilitation skill and experienced in building capacity of trainees
  • Demonstrated capacity on report preparation
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills (Both in Nepali and English)
  • Proven teamwork experience and ability to maintain leadership
  • Proficiency in using relevant software applications (MS Word)
