Java Developer

Smart Data Solutions (SDS) is an 13 year old United States-based corporation. We specialize in providing health care payers and networks with front-end medical claims processing services and EDI solutions.
We are currently developing a new product and are seeking a highly motivated, organized professional Java Developer in our Nepal office Software Development House Nepal (SDHN).

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Professional experience in Java, J2EE
• Web technologies : expert in HTML, CSS, XML, JSON, JavaScript, AngularJS, jQuery, Bootstrap
• Working knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 a plus
• Database : experience with Relational database ( MySQL) , NoSQL database ( MongoDB)
• Experience with automated QA testing, Maven, version control, continuous integration and deployment : a plus
• Experience with Spring Framework, Hiberate, Thymeleaf, JSTL etc a plus

OTHER REQUIREMENTS :

• Proficiency with Unix-like operating systems
• Excellent Verbal and Written Communication
• Math aptitude, problem solving skills
• Professionalism
• Time Management
• At least a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent
• At least 3 years of professional experience

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS :

• IT experience and/or training a plus
• Availability to work nights and weekends if necessary
• Must be able to travel to the United States if necessary
• Must be able to advise the team/implement on new technologies if necessary
