Field Research Technician

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented professional for the following positions with the new Nepal Seed and Fertilizer project, funded by USAID and led by CIMMYT:

POSITION: Field Research Technician

Reference No: N16639

Work Station: Mid-West or Far West Nepal

Qualification: B.Sc. in Agricultural Sciences with at least 2 years of experience in cereal-based cropping systems. Ability to work in a team, or to work independently if needed. Proficiency in written and spoken English.

The Field Research Technician position is responsible for Implementing and maintaining experimental trials; helping to operate, maintain, and repair appropriate farm machinery; collecting data on research trials; assisting in trainings for farmers and partners; coordinating logistics of field activities; and working with partners to implement field activities.
