Deputy Technical Lead- WaSH

Level : C2
Duration : Fixed term contract until March 2018
Location : Kathmandu with frequent travel to Dhading, Nuwakot, Sindhupalchok and Gorkha
Job Role: This position will be responsible to support technical lead in ensuring quality of water and sanitation (WaSH) programs and coordinate capacity building activities across the districts. Also this position holder will be responsible for providing technical support in planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of WaSH program. S/he will require capacity build WaSH team leaders in hydraulic design and BoQ and support of each district to develop effective modalities for working with partners.
Desired Skills and Competencies: Post Graduate qualification in Water Supply and Sanitation Engineering or related field with 5 years of practical experience in developing countries in gravity water supplies, sanitation and hygiene promotion in recovery programme and working with partners. S/he should have knowledge of hydraulic design, water safety plan, community managemen, sustainability are essesntial
