SDS is certified with HIPPA and HITRUST and has been managing 450 million healthcare claims transactions annually for over 19 years. We specialize in providing US healthcare payers and networks with front-end medical claims processing services and EDI solutions to expedite and streamline operations.

Details / requirements:

Smart Data Solutions (SDS) is an 13 year old United States-based corporation. We specialize in providing health care payers and networks with front-end medical claims processing services and EDI solutions. We are currently developing a new product and are seeking a highly motivated, organized professional Customer Support Java Programmer in our  Nepal office Software Development House Nepal (SDHN).

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Problem Analysis & Resolution

  • Understands and follows Smart Data Solutions’ (SDS) workflow and associated technical systems.
  • Understands and follows all assigned customer workflows.
  • Interprets customer business processes, analyzes problems and recommends programmable solutions.
  • Applies analytical and business knowledge to solve customer specified problems adhering to SDS coding standards and policies.
  • Research/suggest/implement the best solution to handle technical issues

Communication

  • Communicates to customers (via emails and phone calls) about SDS workflows.
  • Communicates to client of any critical production issues that may affect a customer’s production process.
  • Communicates to development manager or COO on any critical production issues related to client.
  • Adheres to SDS’s courteous and professional, written and verbal, communication standards.
  • Responds to all customer emails and phone calls promptly and courteously in accordance with SDS communication policy.

Production Monitor/Management

  • Manages daily production for assigned customers.
  • No batches or claims ever delayed or overlooked due to technical issues.
  • All support inquiries reviewed and responded to
  • All support errors reviewed and necessary action taken
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Must Have Skills:

  • Proficiency with Java and MySQL
  • Debugging
  • Proficiency with Unix-like operating systems
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication
  • Math Aptitude
  • Professionalism
  • Time Management
  • 0-2 years of similar experience
  • Experience with technologies listed in previous section

Other Job Requirements:

  • IT experience and/or training a plus
  • Available to work additional hours and weekends if necessary
  • Must be able to travel to the United States if necessary
