Chief Executive Officer/Senior Training Officer/Training Officer/Research Officer/

Centre for Microfinance (CMF) Nepal, a leading microfinance capacity building and network organization, invites applications from interested Nepali citizens for the following positions 

Chief Executive Officer P5 Level (One)

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

• Sound understanding of microfinance and microenterprise sector including micro-insurance and remittances in Nepal 
• Experience in leading/ managing similar organization at least for 5 years 
• Experience in designing and conducting microfinance related research and studies 
• Experience in developing project proposals and negotiation with the clients 
• Experience in microfinance training planning, package development, training delivery, training evaluation and reporting
• Experience in working with microfinance service providers and other stakeholders
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) and Nepali languages
• Ability to lead  a team, network with stakeholders and lobby for development of microfinance sector
• Willingness to travel outside of Kathmandu
• Computer literate with knowledge of the Microsoft Office series

Basic Qualification & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Management / Economics / Development studies / and other relevant subject 
• 10 years of work experience in managing institutions including: a. 2 years experience in Microfinance and b. 2 years of experience in  research, training and policy advocacy related microfinance

Senior Training Officer: P2 Level (One)

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

• Experience in microfinance training package development and facilitation 
• Experience in microfinance training planning, facilitation, monitoring and reporting
• Experience in working with microfinance service providers and other stakeholders
• Knowledge and experience in microfinance, micro-insurance, remittance and micro-enterprise
• Ability to develop innovative training proposals, curriculum and reports
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) and Nepali languages
• Ability to work in a team and with partners in designing, marketing and delivery of relevant training
• Willingness to travel outside of Kathmandu to deliver training, workshops and other services  
• Computer literate with knowledge of the Microsoft Office series

BASIC QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Master’s degree in Management / Economics / Development studies / Other related subject
• At least 5 years of work experience in the microfinance  including  2 years of experience in training design and delivery in microfinance 

Training Officer: P1 Level (One)

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

• Experience in microfinance training package development and facilitation 
• Experience in microfinance training planning, facilitation, monitoring and reporting
• Experience in working with microfinance service providers and other stakeholders
• Ability to develop training proposals, curriculum and reports
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) and Nepali 
• Ability to work in a team and with partners
• Willingness to travel outside of Kathmandu to deliver training, workshops and other services  
• Computer literate with knowledge of the Microsoft Office series

BASIC QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Master’s’ degree in Management / Economics / Development studies / and other related subject
• 3 years of work experience in the microfinance including  1 year  experience in microfinance training design and delivery.

Research Officer: P1 Level (One)

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

• Experience in microfinance research design, proposal development and report writing 
• Experience in conducting research and studies in microfinance / financial sector   
• Experience in data management, field management, data collection and analysis  
• Experience in working with microfinance service providers and other stakeholders
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) and Nepali languages 
• Willingness to travel outside of Kathmandu for research,  training, workshops and other services  
• Computer literate with knowledge of the Microsoft Office series specifically in Word, Excel and PowerPoint, knowledge of other data packages such as Access, SPSS will be more preferable

BASIC QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Master’s’ degree in Management / Economics / Development studies / and other related subject
• 3 years of work experience in the microfinance and including  1 year  experience in microfinance/ financial research activities
