We seek passionate and dedicated individuals experienced individuals to support the development of Nepal’s National Roadmap to Transition from Iron-Folic Acid (IFA) to Multiple Micronutrient Supplementation (MMS).

Position 1: Lead Consultant – Technical Lead for MMS Costed Roadmap Development

Location: Kathmandu with field visits (as required)

Duration: Approximately 30 working days (by December 2025)

Position Overview

The Lead Consultant will provide overall coordination and technical leadership in the development of the National MMS Roadmap. The role involves leading evidence synthesis, stakeholder consultations, and drafting of the Roadmap, including the Theory of Change, phased implementation plan, costing and financing, and monitoring and evaluation framework.

Qualifications

We are seeking a candidate with the following qualifications and experience:

  • Advanced degree in Public Health, Nutrition, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in program planning, policy, or strategy development in maternal health/nutrition.
  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder coordination experience in Nepal.
  • Proven track record of drafting national policy/strategic documents.

Position 2: Consultant – Health Planning and Financing Specialist

Location: Kathmandu with field visits (as required)

Duration: Approximately 25 working days (by December 2025)

Position Overview

The Health Planning and Financing Specialist will provide financial and economic analysis to support the design of the MMS Roadmap. The role includes developing a costing framework, conducting economic analysis, identifying financing gaps, and proposing sustainable financing mechanisms.

Qualifications

We are seeking a candidate with the following qualifications and experience:

  • Advanced degree in Health Economics, Public Health Economics, or related field.
  • 7–10 years of relevant experience in health financing, costing, and policy analysis in Nepal.
  • Proven experience with costing of national health/nutrition strategies.
  • Strong quantitative and policy advisory skills.
