VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT (A rolling basis application)
Dalit Society Welfare Committee Nepal (DSWCN) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization committed to child welfare, women empowerment, inclusive education, emergency response and community development in Nepal.
In partnership with Islamic Relief Nepal, DSWCN is implementing the Bhotekoshi Flash Flood Response Project 2026 in flood affected of Rasuwa, Nuwakot, and Dhading districts. DSWCN invites applications from qualified, dynamic, and result-oriented Nepali citizens for the following field office-based positions:

Short Job Summaries & Eligibility
1. Program Coordinator (1 Position, full time)
Key Role:
- Execute field plans for immediate humanitarian relief and transition in coordination and consultation with Islamic Relief Nepal Emergency Team towards inclusive, early recovery programs.
- Identify and verify beneficiaries, prioritizing vulnerable households, including women, girls, persons with disabilities, older people, and marginalized groups.
- Supervise the distribution of food, non-food items (NFIs), emergency WASH, Shelter materials and cash assistance.
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Social Work, Public Health, Disaster Risk Management, Civil Engineering, Development Studies or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional experience in humanitarian assistance, emergency response, or disaster management
- Prior exposure to managing emergency Food and Non-Food Item distribution, WASH, shelter, or cash-and-livelihood projects is highly desirable.
2. Logistic and Procurement Officer (1 position, full time)
Key Role:
- Work closely in coordination with IR Nepal operations team for the day to day operations of field office or assigned duty station
- Together with IR Nepal to ensure emergency procurement justifications, proper sign-offs, and complete supporting payment documents.
- Closely work with IR Nepal to conduct mandatory vendor compliance, debarment checks, and anti-corruption risk mitigations.
- Together with IR Nepal, coordinate end-to-end logistics including transportation, dispatch, and tracking of relief items.
- Work with IR Nepal to ensure full adherence to Government of Nepal regulations, humanitarian standards, and donor guidelines.
- Maintain audit-ready procurement dossiers, pipeline reports, and financial reconciliations (handling working advances where applicable).
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in management, Business Administration, Management, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 2 to 5+ years of relevant professional experience in logistics, supply chain, or public/INGO-sector procurement, preferably during emergency disaster response.
- Experience of working in emergency response interventions is desirable
3. Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning Officer (1 position, full time)
Key Role:
- Strengthening operation of MEAL System: Together with IR Nepal, work on operationalization of monitoring and evaluation frameworks, including manual and digital data-collection platforms.
- Assessment & Tracking: Work with IR Nepal to conduct post distribution monitoring (PDM), baseline/endline surveys, multi-sector rapid assessments, and beneficiary tracking across affected households.
- Accountability (CFRM): Together with IR Nepal, set up and manage community feedback and response mechanisms to ensure transparency and accountability to affected populations (AAP).
- Data & Evidence Collection: Collect, clean, and analyze project data to support adaptive management and timely decision-making for IR Nepal and DSWCN.
- Reporting & Learning: Document case studies, lessons learned, and progress reports for internal teams, local government, and IR Nepal.
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in development studies, statistics, social science, disaster management, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in MEAL systems within national or international non-governmental organizations (I/NGOs), preferably during emergency or disaster response.
- Proficiency in digital data collection tools (e.g., KoboToolbox), data analysis software, and mobile data management.
- Strong communication skills in Nepali and English, cross-cultural competence, and the ability to work in remote or field-based environments.
General Terms & Requirements
Language Proficiency: Fluency in Maithili and Nepali is mandatory for all positions.
