Forum for Rural Women Ardency Development (FORWARD) was established in May 1995 and managed by compatible and committed women professional groups, works for backward vulnerable, indigenous people, and communities on right based programs for sustainably empowering them. FORWARD developed trust among its supporters through participation and partnership approach of cooperation of ideas, collective views to a significant role in poverty alleviation, and obligation to help against poverty through microfinance, social development, and institutional development program. FORWARD raised their voices against the domestic violence of women, children, and vulnerable communities through mass awareness and advocacy programs. FORWARD   hereby invites applications from experienced and qualified Nepalese citizens for the following positions for Modernizing Aquaculture in Nepal Project with Lutheran World Relief (LWR), and Access to justice for Children project with Just Right for Children in Nepal (JRCN)

Details of Announcement

1. Aquaculture Field Facilitator (AFF) – Proposed 04 positions (2 for Saptari and 2 for Sunsari)

The Aquaculture Field Facilitator will play a crucial role in facilitating the formation and development of fish farmer groups, supporting capacity building activities related to fish farming, hatchery and nursery operation, production, and marketing. The Aquaculture Field Facilitator (AFF) will be responsible for group mobilization, working in close collaboration with the aquaculture field coordinator, and reporting to the Aquaculture field Coordinator.

Academic Qualification

  • Minimum educational requirement: +2 pass / Diploma in Fishery/Veterinary Technician/Agriculture/Agri business/Aquaculture business.
  • Priority will be given to candidates with B.Sc. Fisheries, Agriculture, or bio-sciences background and prior experience and training on office software (Word, PowerPoints, Excel and email/internet).

2. Program Coordinator (1)

The Program Coordinator will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of the “Access to Justice for Children” Project. The position will ensure that project activities are implemented effectively, on time, within the approved budget, and in accordance with organizational policies, donor requirements, and child safeguarding standards.

Required Qualification

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Sociology, Law, Human Rights, Development Studies, Psychology, Public Administration, Social Sciences, or another relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in child protection, children's rights, juvenile justice, access to justice, human rights, or community development programs.
  • Experience coordinating NGO/INGO or donor-funded projects.
  • Knowledge of child rights, child protection systems, safeguarding standards, and relevant national laws and policies.
  • Experience working with government agencies, municipalities, police, judicial institutions, schools, communities, and civil society organizations is desirable.

3. Community Mobilizer (2)

The Community Mobilizer will be responsible for mobilizing and engaging children, identifying vulnerable children and support to prepare rehabilitation plan, orientation families/schools, community members, local leaders, community groups, and relevant stakeholders to support the effective implementation of the “Access to Justice for Children Project.

Required Qualifications

  • Intermediate, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent qualification in Social Work, Sociology, Education, Rural Development, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in community mobilization, child protection, social development, education, or NGO/community-based programs is preferred.
