Project Overview:
The project title on “Impower Her: Access to Justice Initiative”. This project aims to strengthen the institutional and organizational capacity of disability rights organizations through policy development, capacity-building training, improved management systems, and effective documentation practices. It also seeks to enhance the understanding and responsiveness of justice-sector stakeholders on access to justice, gender-based violence prevention, disability rights, and inclusive policy reform and implementation through training, advocacy, media mobilization, and policy engagement.
Furthermore, the project focuses on empowering marginalized and underrepresented women and girls with disabilities by building their leadership, networking, and participation capacities to ensure their meaningful involvement in decision-making processes at different levels.
In this context, it is essential to disseminate effective messages through radio and television to raise awareness and promote an inclusive and rights-based approach. Therefore, this TOR has been developed to competitively select an experienced media house to produce high-quality awareness materials.
To hire a company/firm/interested individual to produce and broadcast awareness materials through radio and TV for promoting their rights, access to justice, and essential services for women and girls with disabilities.
Objectives:
Increase common understanding of justice related stakeholders on access to justice and gender-based violence prevention, disability rights, inclusion in policy processes/amendment, policy implementation mass media mobilization.
Scope of Work of the consultancy and key areas of content
Develop scripts, produce the number of below mention and Broadcast
- 2 TV Public Service Announcement (1–1.5 min)
- 3 Radio Jingle (1/1 Minute)
- 3 Radio Program (15-30 minutes)
- 2 TV programs
Key coverage contents:
Ensure disability-inclusive content (subtitles, sign language, simple language). Covering topics are Organizational profile, Disability rights and Inclusion Women with Disability Rights, Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR), Safe Motherhood, Menstrual Hygiene, Gender Based Violence protection, Digital Violence for Access to Justice of Women with disabilities.
Plan of action and Deliverables
The consultant must submit a comprehensive work plan and deliverables as outlined below with specific deadline including the number of working days and budget. Sub-activities for each procedure can be included as required. Over workplan, budget and payment schedule will be finalized after the consultation between FWDN and consultant.
Required documents for proposal submission:
The company/firm interested need to submit the above-mentioned details with their application:
- Cover Letter
- Technical and financial proposal with work plan
- Profile of consultant including resume of team leader and members, PAN, citizenship, Academic qualification if individual interested.
- Methodological design includes work plan and quality assurance mechanism.
- Copy of Company/firm registration certificate, copy of Vat registration & latest renewal and tax clearance certificate
Criteria of the company/firm/Individual:
- Minimum 3 years’ proven experience in related field.
- Strong understanding of disability inclusive and social issues (Gender, Human Rights and Disability)
- Strong creative and production skills
- Reputed company/firm/individual
- Assurance of the broadcasting of the production materials
Payment plan:
- Payment by two installments (Advance 60% during the starting task and Final installment 40% after completion of the task)
Confidentiality and Ownership:
All the documents that will be provided to the consultant by the organization and the deliverable produced out of the consultancy will remain the property of the organization.
Zero Tolerance against violence and fraud
Each party should respect and promote equality and against any forms of discrimination, abuse, misuse, violence based on gender, disability, poverty, race, color, religion, caste, ethnicity, geography or any ground.
