Rural Community Development Center (RCDC), Doti is a non- profitable NGO registered in Doti District and working in the sectors of Livelihoods, Disaster Response, Climate Chang, education and Health with other sector of community development since 2058 B.S.

In partnership with United Mission to Nepal Medical and Development Trust RCDC Doti is going to implement “Built  Resilient livelihoods of Vulnerable peoples-phase 2 (Re-Live Phase II Project)” in Badikedar Rural Municipality and United Mission to Nepal Climate is going to implement "Change Impacts Mitigation and Adaptation for Environmental Sustainability (CLIMATES) Project" in Bogtan Fudsil Rural Municipality is looking for strong and potential Nepalese candidates to fulfil the following positions:

Project Coordinator(PC)

Re-Live Phase II  Project

Based in Badikedar Rural Municipality

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in agriculture/environmental science/social science/social work with at least three years of experience in community development projects focused on resilient approach and right-based approach. 
  • Master's degree with relevant experience (One year plus) in mentioned fields is preferred.
  • Strong experience of working on Natural resource management, Climate Change, Livelihoods, food security, right to food, livestock, disaster risk reduction and management and enterprise development etc.
  • Have skill and experience on adaptive planning, budgeting and implementation of project interventions and strategies/ approaches
  • Excellent working experience with groups, community mobilization and action reflection process 
  • Broader understanding of crosscutting issues such as disability, gender, climate-change, conflict sensitivity.
  • Have good coordination, collaboration, and networking skills. 
  • Have human resource management and mobilization skills
  • Familiar with rural communities, local language, and culture
  • Have good report writing skills (English preferred).
  • Have knowledge, skill, and experience of academic research
  • Have a two-wheeler driving license to visit communities

Admin and Finance Officer (AFO)

CLIMATES Project 

Based in Bogtan Fudsil Rural Municipality

  • Bachelors' Degree in Business Studies (BBA/BBS)
  • Minimum three years' experience in accounting, financial management and administrative work in development organisations
  • Excellent knowledge and skill in bookkeeping, financial reporting and administrative work.
  • Excellent skills in computer (MS-excel and accounting softwares)
  • Prepare and review vouchers, receipts, and payment documentation.
  • Manage payroll, petty cash, staff reimbursements, and project-specific financial transactions, with proper documentation
  • Support budget preparation, monitoring and revisions.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws, donor regulations and audit requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
  • Support the procurement committee including documentation, quotations, and coordination with vendors and suppliers.
  • Contribute to strengthening internal control systems and financial governance in the organization
  • Monitor project expenditures closely, including field-level expenses, and provide recommendations for efficient resource utilization
  • Strong willingness to work in rural area with frequent field visits
  • Able to work independently and develop individual work calendar
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
