About Us:
We are a non-governmental, non-profit, non-political organization established in 2019. We aim to strengthen the capacity of implementation science research to improve public health in Nepal. As part of our commitment to excellence, we seek a qualified and motivated individual to join our team as a Field Supervisor.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Field Supervisor to support a project in Namobuddha municipality in Kavre district. The successful candidate will work closely with the project team, and the Namobuddha municipality contributing to advancing knowledge in public health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Project Coordinator and other team members to effectively implement and manage project activities.
- Work closely with the health section of Namobuddha municipality.
- Support the health section of Namobuddha municipality on activities assigned by the municipality.
- Organize and oversee project related activities in coordination with FCHVs, health facilities, and municipal authorities.
- Monitor and supervise activities carried out by FCHVs.
- Assist in preparing comprehensive reports summarizing project activities, achievements, challenges, and financial aspects, summarize findings, and prepare draft reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain regular communication with community stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of project activities.
- Ensure that all project activities including screen camps, group care are carried out smoothly.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of certificate level Health Sciences or Nursing. A bachelor's degree with the above mentioned disciplines will be an added advantage.
- Experience in program implementation and research methods, including data collection, interviews and/or focus groups.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office package.
- Excellent written and verbal Proficiency in English and Nepali Language.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with research ethics and IRB processes.
