Expression of Interest

Pro Public, a non-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to the cause of public interest, was founded in 1991 by a consortium of environmental lawyers, journalists, economists, engineers, consumers, and women rights activists. It raises the voice against corruption, red-tape, and irregularities and makes the government bodies aware of their duties and responsibilities. Its focus over the years has been on good governance, conflict transformation, peace building, protection of natural and cultural heritage, environmental justice, pollution control, gender justice, and consumer protection. Pro Public has consistently succeeded in creating government accountability in Nepal through media campaigns, advocacy, tool of social accountability, negotiation, correspondence, and public interest litigation.

Required Service: 

Pro Public invites applications from qualified audit firms for conducting the internal audit for Fiscal Year 2082/83.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Audit of approximately 570 vouchers.
• Review of financial transactions amounting to approximately NPR 19,715,462.00 (up to date).
• Verification of financial records and supporting documents.
• Preparation and submission of internal audit report.

Position: Internal Auditor

Eligibility Criteria:

Interested qualified individuals with completed or ongoing Chartered Accountant (CA) course can submit their application by mentioning the total remuneration for the assignment along with following documents. 

1. PAN Certificate
2. Evidence of Academic achievements
3. Copy of the citizenship
