Youth Alliance for Development (YARD), a non-profit and non-governmental organization is a youth led organization established in 2011 AD, guided by a shared vision of supporting marginalized communities, children, women and youth. YARD was founded by a dynamic cohort of young visionaries who recognize the indispensable role that the youth assume in steering the nation towards progress. The organization is swiftly emerging as a potent force centered on the youth, fortified by proactive measures, the promotion of youth leadership, and empowerment initiative.

Youth Alliance for Development (YARD) is implementing the SAHAYATRA-III and Corporate Co-Financing Project in Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City of Kailali District in partnership with Save the Children International (SCI). The project goal is to ensure child rights and child protection. Therefore, Youth Alliance for Development (YARD) seeks to onboard result-oriented individuals to fulfill the following position.

Position Title: Assistant Project Field Officer -One

Duty Station: Corporate Co-financing Project’s working areas of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City, Kailali

Key Responsibilities:

• Project activities implementation and reporting.
• Support to child club/child club network to regularize periodic meeting
• Support to child club to plan and conduct child led initiatives
• Identify the emerging issues of children and report to concerned on time.
• Support to prepare periodic project progress report
• Coordination and communication with local government, target beneficiaries and relevant stakeholders.
• Facilitation and support in meetings with youth club, child club and Local Child Rights Committee, workshops and training.
• Support the project team in planning, implementation, monitoring and documentation.
• Comply with YARD’s policies/procedures including child protection and safeguarding.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum +2 or bachelor’s degree in social work, Rural Development, Education, Health, Law or related discipline.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in community mobilization, preferably in donor-funded or child-focused programs.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, coordination and reporting skills.
• Commitment to transparency, accountability and teamwork.
