Jan Jagaran Youth Club (JJYC) is a national, not for profit, Humanitarian development and non-governmental organization working since 1998. It is a well-established youth-led organization that works on empowering rural communities through various themes like inclusive Education, WASH, GEDSI, DRR and Climate change, knowledge management, human rights and sustainable livelihood enhancement programs. JJYC, Bara hereby invites applications from experienced and qualified Nepalese citizens for the following positions for the INSPIRE project with support from Save the Children/KOICA:

Details of Announcement:

1. Finance Coordinator: 01 position

The Finance Coordinator will operate under the guidance of the Sr. Project Coordinator is responsible for financial accounting and management reporting. The scope of responsibilities includes financial accounting of our programs and operations. Ensuring financial efficiency, sustainability and viability and establishing a strong financial governance framework

Location: JJYC field office, Kalaiya with frequent field visits to project area. 

Qualification: Master's/ bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration with courses in accounting, or a qualification in accounting (CPA/ACCA or equivalent). Masters would be a plus with at least 5 years of experience in an operation and a financial position with similar responsibilities is required, preferably with an international or local NGO, or a financial/banking institution with 3 years of relevant experience.

2. Youth Employment/TEVT Project Coordinator: 01 position 

The Youth Employment/TEVT Project Coordinator will operate under the guidance of the Sr. Project Coordinator to ensure the effective implementation of project activities, adhering to established standards and strategies. This role demands extensive field travel to project sites and collaboration with stakeholders to promote sustainable TEVT interventions. A key focus will be ensuring the sustainability of the KOICA Strategic Partnership Program’s learning, Youth Employment initiatives, and TEVT development efforts.  

Location: JJYC Field office, Kalaiya with frequent field visits to project area. 

Qualification: Master’s degree in agriculture/TEVT, Social Science or Rural Development or any other discipline with three years or bachelor’s degree with five years of work experience in Youth Employment related project with at least three years of field experience in Youth Employment and TEVT program implementation.

3. Pedagogical Resource Person: 04 position (Karaiyamai RM-1, Devatal-1 and Mahagahimai Mun.-2)

The Pedagogical Resource Person (PRP) - Education operates under the guidance of the Sr. Project Coordinator (Technically coordination with Education Project Coordiantor) , is entrusted with the responsibility of providing Teachers Professional Development (TPD) of early grade teachers. This role involves offering on-the-spot coaching and mentoring to teachers, conducting observations in classrooms, facilitating mobile meetings, organizing workshops on effective teaching, and learning techniques, and managing the coordination of coaching and mentoring activities in collaboration with the municipality. Additionally, the PRP will contribute to innovation in schools, oversee performance-based awards for teachers and schools, and execute other duties as required within the framework of the INSPIRE project

Location: Karaiyamai RM, Devatal RM and Mahagadhimai Municipality, Bara district with frequent field visits to target school and Kalaiya, Field Office.   

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in education (Preferred: Master’s degree) with at least 1-2 years of progressive responsibility in relevant field.
