TSK is seeking a Senior Program Officer (SPO) who is deeply committed to feminist values, advocates for social justice, and brings strong experience working with local governments, women’s groups, socially excluded populations, and marginalized communities, particularly in empowerment, leadership development, and community engagement. Reporting to the Program Lead and working closely with the Senior Management Committee and District team of the Samaan Aawaaj project, a 3-year initiative in partnership with the Coady Institute. The project aims to strengthen inclusive governance, uphold human rights, and promote gender equality in Nepal, with a focus on Nawalpur, Bardiya, and Surkhet districts. This initiative contributes directly to TSK’s broader mission of advancing intersectional feminist leadership and fostering the growth of feminist movements in Nepal.

Some major responsibilities of Senior Program Officer (SPO) but not limited will include:
- Take primary responsibility of operational planning, coordination, and implementation of district based activities that promote an intersectional feminist agenda and amplify the voices of marginalized communities.
- Guide District Coordinators to identify marginalized and socially excluded groups within local government units and develop effective outreach strategies to engage and empower women and girls from these communities as potential leaders.
- Oversee district-level implementation of program activities including feminist leadership workshops, intergenerational dialogues, learning exchanges, vision-building exercises, conferences, and training alignment with program objectives.
- Coordinate district activity plans, budgets, schedules, and ensure effective utilization of financial and program resources.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with local government bodies, feminist organizations, advocacy groups, and other stakeholders to foster collaboration, maximize synergies, and ensure effective communication.
- Assist Monitoring and Evaluation Team to track progress, making data-driven adjustments as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
- Travel to project districts at least once every two months to oversee field activities, engage with local partners, and ensure implementation is on track.
- Handle administrative functions including scheduling, preparing materials, and maintaining organized records and documentation.
- Oversee the efficient allocation and use of program resources, including budgets, materials, and logistical needs.
- Support Program leads to coordinating with facilitators, consultants, and resource persons to ensure successful program delivery.
- Support the alignment of program activities with TSK’s mission and strategic priorities.
- Support Program lead for the preparation of program documentation, including donor reports, progress updates, and event-based reports.
- Collaborate with the Program Lead in the development of TSK’s publications and knowledge products.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Master’s degree in Gender Studies, Social Work, Development Studies, or a related field.
- 3 to 4 years of experience in coordinating programs or managing projects within feminist, rights-based, or community development contexts.
- Hands-on experience in organizing workshops, capacity-building sessions, community engagement activities, and advocacy campaigns.
- Proven ability to work with marginalized groups, especially women, girls, and socially excluded communities.
- Strong skills in project coordination, communication, and team collaboration.
- Solid understanding of intersectional feminism, social inclusion, and grassroots organizing.
- Proficiency in English for reporting, along with Nepali typing skills.
- Ability to lead with initiative while working effectively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with Nepal’s feminist movement history and approaches to movement building.
- Deep commitment to feminist values, social justice, and The Story Kitchen’s mission.

Required Qualifications and Experience
- A Master's Degree in Gender Studies, Social Work, Development Studies, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in program coordination, project management, advocacy within the development or feminist sectors.
- Good experience in organizing and managing workshops, events and advocacy/campaigns.
- Excellent skills in project management, communication, and team leadership.
- Proficiency in program reporting in English and should have Nepali typing.
- Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- A deep commitment to feminist values, social justice, and human rights.
- Good understanding of Movement building, the history of Nepal’s intersectional feminist movements and activism.

TSK is seeking a Web Content Producer for its web-based platform www.sandhaann.com which blends journalism, history and narrative practice with a focus on Herstory documentation. This position requires a strong understanding of Nepal’s intersectional feminist movements, strong multimedia production skills and a passion for creating multimedia content and stories. In close coordination with and guidance from the Executive Editor and Program Lead/Organization Head, WCP will take lead in the production of impactful stories achieving the goal and objectives of TSK and Sandhaann (सन्धान).
Some major responsibilities of the Web Content Producer but not limited will include:
- Serve as the primary content gatekeeper for sandhaann.com, overseeing editorial review, design standards, and final publication of all content.
- Design and publish long-form stories, news analysis, interviews, testimonies, etc. using digital storytelling techniques to improve readability, clarity and audience engagement.
- Produce infographics, briefs, and promotional content from long form stories and share them in the social media pages
- Coordinate with story contributors to ensure quality and consistency before publication.
- Manage and regularly update sandhaann.com, ensuring proper formatting, tagging, categorization, SEO optimization, and overall user experience.
- Travel as required to collect stories to strengthen digital storytelling and herstory documentation.
- Ensure all published materials meet TSK’s editorial standards, feminist values, and institutional mission.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication and Journalism, gender studies, history, or any other related faculty with at least 3 years of work experience in similar responsibility and same working issue.
- Proven experience managing websites (preferable using CMS platforms such as WordPress or similar)
- Excellent in written Nepali and English, with proficiency in grammar, vocabulary and style
- Experience in developing and managing social media contents.
- Excellent skills in photography, Videography and multimedia production
- Proficiency in using multimedia editing and design tools/software such as Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Canva and Indesign
- Understanding of Nepal’s intersectional feminist movements, gender justice and social inclusion.
- Ability to coordinate with diverse stakeholders and work collaboratively within a team.

This position requires a deep understanding of Nepal's intersectional feminist movements, excellent networking skills, strong research abilities, and fluency in written Nepali. TSK is seeking a Finance and Administration Associate. In close coordination with and strategic guidance from the Finance and Administration Coordinator (FAC), the Finance and Administration Associate (FAA) will provide support on financial management, administration including human resource and logistics management to maintain a transparent, accountable and proper operational system within the organization. FAA will work with the Finance and Administration team and program team to implement administrative, financial and logistics management functions.

Some major responsibilities of the FAA but not limited will include:
Support to financial management
- Responsible for handling petty cash funds as per set provision of organization’s Administration and Finance Policy.
- Ensure timely payment and delivery of office and kitchen utilities and other office logistics costs through a petty cash fund.
- Support to collect invoice, relevant documents i.e. collecting boarding pass & other related documents & submit to Sr. Finance Officer for further payment process.
- Settlement of staff monthly lunch expenses and coordination of related activities
- Responsible for visiting bank for banking transactions (withdraw/deposit cash/cheque) and collect bank statement on periodic basis
- Support Sr. Finance Officer and Finance and Admin. Coordinator for photocopying, scanning financial and administrative documents for reporting and electronic archiving
- Visit PF/CIT/Tax/Ward office/Donor office/Project partner offices for official works.
Administrative management
- Responsible for monitoring the front-office area, office premises and regular monitoring to keep the office area clean and tidy in close coordination with support staff.
- Responsible for dealing with visitors and maintaining professional communication via phone, e-mail, or any other medium and maintaining good relations with vendors, visiting markets, vendors to collect the admin related documents.
- Documenting incoming and outgoing communication and letter (both soft and hard copies) and taking initiative or delegating for sending/receiving of official documents, parcel, courier etc.;
- Responsible for repair and maintenance of office building and office equipment, office vehicle including office equipment i.e. computers, printers, and photocopy machines.
- Carry out the functions related to day-to-day office management and administration and ensure electric, water, internet bills are paid timely and daily utilities items, consumable items stock are up to date.
Support to human resource management, logistic and Inventory management
- Support to maintain and update personal files, leave records & attendance sheets/Monthly time sheet for all project staff on a monthly basis
- Assist in staff recruitment process during recruitment of new staff.
- Maintains office inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies and verifying receipt of supplies;
- Responsible for kitchen management and maintaining kitchen supplies up to date in close coordination with support staff.
- Maintain and update stock book /coding inventory of fixed assets and office supplies in consultation with the procurement team and ensure ready for annual verification at audit time.
- Assist in organizing logistic for events such as organization meetings, interaction, workshops and other events as necessary
- Assist in arranging transportation/flight booking/hotel reservations with support and in consultation with relevant staff/person;
- Support to maintain the vendors / service providers roster and assist in procurement and logistics arrangements process for workshops, purchasing office consumables/goods/assets and make sure that the quality of procured items is good and timely delivered.
Others
- Carry out any other relevant tasks as assigned by the supervisor and management of the organization.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelors’ Degree in Finance and Accounts with at least one year of work experience or Intermediate degree in Business with at least two years’ experience in NGO sector or Private Sector, preferably in a similar position or related field of work.
- Strong Finance & admin management skills including relationship management, communication and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-cultural environment and establish harmonious and effective working relationships, both within and outside the organization.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Communication skills in both English and Nepali (written and Spoken)
- Supportive and friendly to do any organizational work as needed
- Having a 2-wheeler license is preferable.
