Details / requirements:
CALL FOR PROPOSAL TO
CONDUCT EVALUATION OF DISABILITY INCLUSIVE DEVELOPMENT (DID) PROJECT
United Mission to Nepal (UMN) has been serving the people of Nepal since 1954. UMN is implementing the Disability Inclusive Development (DID) project in Nawalparasi District with funding support from Transform Aid International (TAI) and in partnership with its local partner, the Sunwal Community Development Centre (SCDC). This evaluation aims to assess the project against the DAC criteria and UMN’s cross-cutting themes, and to identify lessons and practical actions that can be applied in the next phase of the project and/or in other UMN projects.
All interested and qualified consulting firms and individuals who meet the requirements are encouraged to apply. UMN will give priority to consultants with extensive experience in disability or the social inclusion of excluded communities, as well as strong knowledge and experience of GEDSI mainstreaming and disability-inclusive development approaches, frameworks and standards. The Terms of Reference (ToR), which outline the details of the assessment and conditions, can be accessed at www.umn.org.np/consultancy.
The application must be submitted to UMN by 26 November 2025.
Short-listed candidates will be invited to an assessment process. We especially encourage and provide grant points for applications from women and excluded groups. Please submit your applications to consultants.meal@umn.org.np
