Support Engineer – Web Hosting, Domain & SSL

We are looking for a motivated Support Engineer to handle customer support and assist in sales for web hosting, domain registration, and SSL services. The role involves technical troubleshooting, client communication, and helping customers choose the right hosting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for:
  • Web hosting (shared, VPS, etc.)
  • Domain registration, DNS management
  • SSL installation and troubleshooting
• Assist customers in selecting suitable hosting and domain plans (sales support)
• Respond to customer queries via email, chat, and phone
• Troubleshoot website, email, and server-related issues
• Manage control panels like cPanel/Plesk
• Coordinate with technical teams for issue resolution
• Maintain customer satisfaction and service quality
• Upsell hosting-related services where appropriate

Technical Skills

• Basic knowledge of:
  • Web hosting concepts (shared, VPS, cloud hosting)
  • Domain & DNS management
  • SSL certificates (installation, renewal, errors)
• Familiarity with:
  • cPanel / WHM / Plesk
  • FTP, email configuration, website deployment
• Understanding of:
  • HTML/CSS basics
  • WordPress or CMS platforms
• Basic knowledge of Linux server environment (preferred)

 Preferred (Optional but Valuable)

• Experience in hosting companies or IT support roles
• Knowledge of billing systems like WHMCS
• Prior sales or customer support experience
• Basic PHP and WordPress knowledge will be preferable
