STEM Teacher

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate STEM Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching STEM/STEAM subjects and will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons and hands-on activities. The role will also involve traveling to various schools, centers, and labs to conduct workshops and demonstrations. You will report to the Program Supervisor, who will provide guidance and support for day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach STEM/STEAM subjects (robotics, electronics, 3D printing, IoT, etc.) to students or train teachers at various educational institutions
• Coordinate with schools and centers to ensure seamless delivery of STEM programs
• Conduct hands-on experiments and activities that stimulate creativity and innovation in students
• Travel regularly to different schools, educational centers, and labs to conduct workshops and training sessions
• Provide after-sales technical support to schools and clients, ensuring smooth program delivery and addressing any concerns
• Support pre-sales activities by working closely with the business development and sales teams to provide technical demonstrations and educational content
• Help develop new STEM programs and curricula, tailored to different age groups and learning environments
• Collaborate with the Program Supervisor for feedback, guidance, and continuous improvement of programs
• Stay updated with the latest STEM trends, tools, and technologies to incorporate into lesson plans
• Foster a positive and inspiring learning environment that encourages students to explore and innovate in STEM fields

Candidate Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, etc.)

Experience:

• At least 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in STEM/STEAM subjects
• Experience in facilitating hands-on learning activities related to robotics, electronics, 3D printing, IoT, and other STEM fields
• Experience in developing educational programs or curricula for STEM-based lessons

Skills & Qualities:

• Strong interest and passion for STEM education
• Comfortable working with students of various age groups and backgrounds
• Excellent communication skills in English (fluency required) and Nepali
• Comfortable appearing in front of the camera for educational video content and workshops
• Ability to manage large groups of students and facilitate engaging learning experiences
• Strong organizational skills, able to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to travel frequently for school and center visits
• Proficiency in using technology, educational tools, and digital resources
