SEO Specialist – Remote

Location: Remote (Work from Home)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Salary Range: Rs. 140,000 – 160,000 per month

About the Role

Australian Internet Advertising is looking for an experienced SEO Specialist to join our remote team. The role requires someone with strong technical and strategic SEO expertise who can manage audits, optimise websites, and deliver measurable results. You’ll be part of a dynamic team, contributing to client growth while working in a flexible, remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement SEO strategies that drive traffic, improve rankings, and increase conversions

• Conduct technical SEO checks, content audits, and full website audits

• Perform keyword research, competitor analysis, and optimisation planning

• Use tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and Surfer SEO to track and improve performance

• Collaborate with content teams; content writing skills will be considered an advantage

• Execute on-page and off-page SEO, including link building (preferred)

• Work with WordPress and Shopify (Shopify experience considered a plus)

• Ensure websites are optimised for speed, mobile friendliness, crawlability, and indexing

• Monitor analytics, prepare SEO performance reports, and provide insights to clients

• Communicate strategies and results clearly in client-facing settings
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• At least 5 years of proven SEO experience

• Strong experience with WordPress; Shopify knowledge is an added benefit

• Expertise with SEO tools: Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Surfer SEO

• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; PHP knowledge is a plus

• Strong technical SEO skills, with a track record of conducting audits and implementing fixes

• Ability to track, measure, and report on SEO performance using analytics platforms

• Experience in content optimisation and link building preferred

• Superior written and spoken English

• Comfortable in client-facing interactions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related discipline
