Request for Sealed Quotations for the supply and installation of an Automatic Weather Station (AWS)

for the Early Warning System in Haripur Municipality, Sarlahi District

Nepal Integrated Development Society (NIDS), Lalbandi, Sarlahi, a non-profit social development organization in partnership with Prosper Global Nepal is implementing the Climate Resilience for Communities (CRC) project under Zurich Climate Resilience Alliance (ZCRA) in Sarlahi district.

Zurich Climate Resilience Alliance (ZCRA) is a multi-sectoral partnership, powered by the Z Zurich Foundation, focused on enhancing resilience to climate hazards in both rural and urban communities. Formerly the Zurich Flood Resilience Alliance, ZCRA has over a decade of experience in generating evidence of communities’ current levels of climate resilience and identifying appropriate solutions. ZCRA partners are drawn from the humanitarian, NGO, research and private sectors and work together to achieve the vision by implementing solutions, promoting good practice, influencing policy and facilitating systemic change.

Under the project, NIDS invites sealed quotations from eligible suppliers for the supply and installation of an Automatic Weather Station (AWS) for the Early Warning System in Haripur Municipality, Sarlahi District.

Interested suppliers are requested to submit their sealed quotation with item-wise rates and required documents within seven (7) days of this notice. The required technical specifications and list of documents are provided below.

Required Documents to Be Submitted:

• Copy of the firm/supplier registration and latest renewal certificate.
• Copy of VAT registration and Tax Clearance Certificate for FY 2082/83.
• Application on the firm's letterhead stating the capacity and timeframe for supplying the required equipment and services.
• Sealed quotation with rates, submitted in a sealed envelope or by email.
• Item-wise unit prices with the required details and specifications.
• Details of the required works and materials to be provided by the supplier as specified below.

Conditions for Rejection/Cancellation of the Quotation:

• Quotations without the required legal documents shall be automatically rejected.
• Quotations without item-wise unit prices and required details/specifications shall be rejected.
• Quotations received after the specified deadline shall be rejected.

Place and Time for Delivery and Installation of the Required Works and Materials:

• Location: Haripur Municipality ward no. 2, Sarlahi District.
• Completion Period: The selected supplier must complete the supply, installation, testing, and handover of the AWS equipment within 15 days of receiving the purchase order from NIDS.

Deadline and Address for Submission of Sealed Quotations:

Deadline: By 5:00 PM, 1 October 2026 (2083/06/15).

NIDS reserves the right to accept the quotation in whole or in part, or to reject any or all quotations.
