Location: Nepal (Field travel across 14 project districts in 5 provinces through 5 NGO clusters)
Reporting to: Chief of Party (CoP), Aquaculture Development in Nepal Project (ADNP)
Technically coordinated with Deputy Chief of Party (DCoP) and Aquaculture Technical Team
Anticipated Start Date: TBD
Anticipated End Date: Within 3–4 months from contract signing

Background
Corus International is a family of organizations which believes that those who were born into impossible circumstances deserve the opportunity for a better life. Corus was formed through the strategic merger of IMA World Health and Lutheran World Relief and operates globally in livelihoods, health, and resilience programming.
The USDA-funded Aquaculture Development in Nepal Project for Markets, Business, Resilience, and Diversification for Household Income project aims to increase aquaculture sector profitability, strengthen financial services, improve SPS compliance, and promote safe fish consumption across 14 districts of Nepal.
Under Component 2 (Increase Aquaculture Sector Profitability), the project will introduce low-cost automation technologies to improve efficiency and reduce operational losses at hatchery, nursery, and pond levels.
In Year 1, the project will implement automation demonstration units across 5 partner NGO clusters with mandatory cost-share from farmers/private sector actors.

Objective
To assess, design, budget, and support implementation of low-cost automation demonstration systems that improve operational efficiency, reduce labor/time losses, and increase productivity in hatcheries, nurseries, and pond systems within a defined financial ceiling
