Position: Project Coordinator- Nurturing Health

Location: Dang

Position Overview

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for the overall coordination, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of activities under the Nurturing Health initiative in Lumbini Province. Serving as the primary liaison among the Province Health Director (PHD), Health Offices, municipalities, local stakeholders, the Implementation Partner, and the central project team, the coordinator will ensure the timely and quality delivery of planned interventions.

In addition to provincial responsibilities, the coordinator will provide technical support to implementation partner. This role requires close collaboration with the PHD, relevant government agencies, and development partners to enhance coordination, optimize resource utilization, minimize duplication, and foster synergies for improved maternal and newborn health outcomes.

Qualifications

We are seeking a candidate with the following qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field and at least 5 years of relevant experience in INGOs; or a Master’s degree with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in INGOs managing maternal health, non-communicable diseases (NCDs), or nutrition programs at the district or provincial level.
  • Experience working with government health systems, preferably within Lumbini Province.
  • Comprehensive understanding of maternal health, including conditions such as hyperglycemia in Pregnancy /Gestational Diabetes Mellitus.
  • Demonstrated skills in coordination, supervision, facilitation, and reporting.
