Working for Access and Creation Nepal (WAC-Nepal) is a nonprofit, non-governmental and nonpolitical humanitarian development organization that is going to start the ''HATEMALO for Child Wellbeing and Integrated Development Project'' in partnership with World Vision International Nepal. The project will be implemented in Achham District for creating child-friendly governance and infrastructure that ensures safe, hunger-free households and holistic child development as the foundation for building skilled, civilized citizens and a prosperous future. WAC-Nepal is seeking qualified, dynamic and motivated Nepali citizens for the following positions in order to implement the HATEMALO for Child Wellbeing and Integrated Development Project in its working areas.

Position: Programme Coordinator

Required Position: 1 Person (Based in Safebagar, Achham)

Minimum Qualification and Experience:

The candidate should hold at least a bachelor's degree in agriculture, Economics, Enterprise Development, Climate Change, NRM, or related fields with 5+ years of project management experience, or a Master’s degree with 3+ years of similar experience. They must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects and diverse teams, handle risks, uphold good governance, and work effectively in both development and emergency contexts, especially with regard to children’s wellbeing. The candidate should have strong technical expertise in livelihoods, climate change, women’s economic empowerment (WEE), GEDSI, child rights, and data management, along with solid project and financial management skills. The role also requires proven experience in team leadership and the ability to present performance insights using qualitative and quantitative data.

Major Responsibility:

The role and responsibilities of the Programme Coordinator will have to manage integrated program and advocacy portfolios to ensure strategic alignment, quality implementation, risk mitigation, and strong governance. It emphasizes data-driven, inclusive programming by integrating MEAL, GEDSI, DRR, and sponsorship elements to uplift marginalized communities and improve child well-being. The position requires community mobilization, capacity-building of field teams, and maintaining partnerships with local governments and protection actors. The individual must demonstrate adaptability, accountability, and leadership, promote sustainable local systems, and effectively communicate program results and impacts.

Position: Women Economic Empowerment (WEE) Officer

Required Number: 1 Person (Achham District)

Minimum Qualification and Experience:

The female candidate should hold bachelor's degree in agriculture, Economics, Social Work, Sociology, or a related field with strong expertise in Women’s Economic Empowerment (WEE) approaches.

Candidate must have experience in implementing livelihood or WEE-focused projects, including technical/vocational training, collaboration with financial service providers, and business plan development. The candidate should have minimum 1 year experience including advocacy skills for engaging with local governments on policy development, a solid understanding of WEE, GEDSI, community-led initiatives, and local advocacy, and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders across sectors.The candidate should also have strong training, facilitation, and mentoring skills, experience in budget forecasting, expense tracking, and report writing, as well as proficiency in capacity assessments and Microsoft Office applications.

Major Responsibility:

The role and responsibilities of the Women’s Economic Empowerment (WEE) Officer will have providing technical leadership and support for planning and implementing interventions. Key responsibilities include contributing to annual planning, leading WEE strategy development based on gender-responsive and market assessments, and ensuring a “do no harm” approach. The position requires collaboration with the monitoring team to collect, analyze, and report WEE outcomes, as well as offering technical guidance to project staff on WEE-related issues. Additional duties include facilitating focus group discussions, maintaining accurate documentation and reports, and capturing good practices and lessons learned from project initiatives.
