INF International is an International non-government Organization, serving poor and disadvantaged people of Nepal to enable life in its fullness through health and community development services. INF provides health and community development services in the provinces of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim.

INF International is seeking an experienced, competent, service-oriented, and devoted volunteer to provide highly skilled expertise in the treatment and care of those with life-limiting illnesses, and who shares our vision, missions, and values.

Position: Palliative Care Doctor

Required Number: 1

Location: Pokhara

Salary & Benefits: Volunteer, No financial benefits will be provided.

Contract period: 2-3 years

The post holder is responsible for building the capacity of INF Nepal palliative care skills of medical professionals and that of the Health Services Team to deliver and develop palliative care services for the target group in remote, poor and socially excluded/marginalised, underprivileged and disadvantaged people group areas of Nepal.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:

• Master’s degree in a relevant subject or equivalent.+3 years of experience.
• Good communication skills in both English and Nepali
• Technical skills relating to professional expertise, experience in health service delivery.
• Good teamwork and experience in cross-cultural teams
• Ability to work effectively in crisis situations and frequent travel to project areas.
• Ready to work on a volunteer basis. No, financial benefits.
