INF International is an International non-government Organization, serving poor and disadvantaged people of Nepal to enable life in its fullness through health and community development services. INF provides health and community development services in the provinces of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim.

INF International is seeking a competent, skilled, service-oriented and devoted volunteer to provide innovative approaches to improve the care and therapy of those with life-limiting illnesses, and who shares our vision, missions, and values.

Position: Palliative Care Technical Advisor

Required Number: 1

Location: Pokhara

Salary & Benefits: Volunteer, No financial benefits will be provided.

Contract period: 2-3 years, depending upon the Nepal Government approval.

The post holder is responsible for building the capacity of the INF Nepal palliative care service by bringing innovative approaches to therapy and care. The technical skills will build knowledge and understanding throughout the hospital’s health care services, especially to those who are in remote, poor and socially excluded/marginalised, underprivileged and disadvantaged people group areas of Nepal.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:

• Master’s degree in a relevant subject or equivalent.+3 years of experience.
• Good communication skills in both English and Nepali
• Technical skills relating to professional expertise, experience in health service delivery.
• Good teamwork and experience in cross-cultural teams
• Ability to work effectively in crisis situations and frequent travel to project areas.
• Ready to work on a volunteer basis. No, financial benefits.
