NOTICE FOR REQUEST FOR SEALED QUOTATION

With the support of OXFAM Nepal and KOICA, National Environment and Equity Development Society (NEEDS) Nepal is implementing the “Empowering Her: Advancing Women’s Economic and Political Leadership for Climate-Resilient Communities Project” in Kanchanpur District. NEEDS Nepal invites sealed quotations from eligible and qualified individual consultants/consulting firms for the following consultancy service.

Consultancy Service

“ToT on Unpaid Care Work Analysis and Knowledge Transfer to Women Empowerment Centers, Including Action Plan Preparation” The selected consultant/firm will be responsible for conducting a Training of Trainers (ToT) on Unpaid Care Work Analysis, facilitating knowledge transfer to Women Empowerment Centre (WEC) members, and supporting WECs to analyze the unequal distribution of unpaid care and domestic work and develop practical, locally relevant Action Plans for promoting shared household responsibilities and gender equality.

Required Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Gender Studies, Social Work, Development Studies, Sociology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in gender equality, GBV prevention, unpaid care work, or social behaviour change programming.
• Proven experience in facilitating participatory training on gender equality and unpaid care work analysis for women and men.
• Experience working with community-based organizations and marginalized communities will be an advantage.
• Experience in Kanchanpur/Sudurpashchim and with NGOs/INGOs will be given preference.
• Good understanding of local socio-economic and cultural contexts and ability to contextualize training content.
• Knowledge of local languages used in Kanchanpur will be an advantage.

Note: Meals and accommodation during (4 days) the training period will be provided by NEEDS Nepal.
