Public Notice: Hiring a Consultancy service to provide 3 days training for Capacity development of elected representatives and government officials 

Attention: All Interested Consultancy firms or individuals

The Women in Climate Resilient Agri-Systems for Enhanced Nutrition Security (WE-CAN) Project is supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and Welthungerhilfe (WHH), and jointly implemented by Working for Access and Creation (WAC) Nepal, PeaceWin Nepal and SAMBIKAS Nepal in close coordination with Sanphebagar Municipality and Chaurpati Rural Municipality of Achham District, Sudurpashchim Province, Nepal.

The primary objective of the training is to enhance the knowledge and skills of elected representatives and government officials in climate-resilient agriculture and nutrition governance to support policy formulation and implementation.

Required Team Composition and Qualifications 

The selected external resource person should have:

• Advanced knowledge and experience in climate-resilient agriculture.
• Expertise in policy development and implementation related to climate-resilient agriculture and nutrition governance at the local level.
• Prior experience in facilitating training programs for government officials and elected representatives in climate-resilient agriculture and nutrition governance.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills.
• Master's degree in agriculture, environmental science, natural resource management and other related. 
• A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in Climate change, CRA, and training and capacity building and related field.

RESOURCE PERSON SERVICE 

• Number of facilitators in team = 2
• The main training session will be conducted for 3 days.
• The completion report must be submitted within three days after training session.

Consultancy firms or individuals are required to submit the following documents:

• Letter of interest 
• Technical proposal, which includes objectives and methods with a detailed timeline.
• Personal CVs, Citizenship of professional personnel proposed for this project
• Financial proposal indicating consultancy fee (personal expense will not be provided separately, it should be included in consultancy fee)
• Technical proposal and financial proposals 
• Copy of company registration certificate 
• Copy of PAN/VAT registration certificate
• Sample of previous documents or publication of a similar nature
• Interested candidates/firms/Companies should submit all details mentioned above through procurement@wac.org.np with password protected in both technical and financial proposal Or can be submitted in the office within office hours.
