Auction Notice for Sale of Used Vehicle

Ipas Nepal invites sealed bids from interested individuals, firms, and companies for the purchase of its used office vehicle. The vehicle will be sold on an "As Is, Where Is" basis.

Interested bidders may inspect the vehicle from 08 October 2026 to 16 October 2026, between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM, at the parking premises of Ipas Nepal, Naxal, Kathmandu.

Interested bidders should complete Annex I (Bid Form) and submit it in a sealed envelope clearly marked: "Bid for Vehicle Auction"

Bids will be opened on 30 October 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Ipas Nepal Office in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives who wish to attend. The bid opening will proceed even if some or all bidders are absent.

Terms and Conditions

1. Bids must be submitted in writing using the prescribed Annex I (Bid Form) before the submission deadline.
2. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security of NPR 26,000.00, submitted in the form of a cheque payable to Ipas Nepal. The bid security of unsuccessful bidders will be refunded. The successful bidder's bid security will be adjusted against the final purchase price.
3. The vehicle will be awarded to the bidder offering the highest responsive bid, provided it meets all the requirements of this notice.
4. The successful bidder shall bear all costs associated with the transfer of ownership, including applicable taxes, registration fees, insurance, and any other related charges.
5. The successful bidder will be notified by email. If the successful bidder fails to complete the purchase within the specified period, Ipas Nepal reserves the right to offer the vehicle to the next highest bidder.
6. Ownership of the vehicle shall remain with Ipas Nepal until the full payment has been received and all ownership transfer formalities have been completed.
7. Payment must be deposited into the official bank account of Ipas Nepal. The bank account details will be shared with the successful bidder.
8. The successful bidder must collect and remove the vehicle from the Ipas Nepal premises within seven (7) days after completion of the ownership transfer process.
9. The vehicle is sold on an "As Is, Where Is" basis. Ipas Nepal provides no warranty or guarantees regarding the condition, performance, or roadworthiness of the vehicle.
10. Bidders are encouraged to inspect the vehicle before submitting their bids. No complaints regarding the vehicle's condition will be entertained after the bid is awarded.
11. Incomplete, unsigned, conditional, or late bids may be rejected.
12. Ipas Nepal reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, cancel the auction, or extend the bidding period without assigning any reason.
13. Employees of Ipas Nepal and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate in this auction.
