We are looking for a talented, versatile, and results-driven Guest House Manager to lead the operations of our charming bed and breakfast, located in a 300-year-old UNESCO-recognized traditional Newari house.

About Us:

Our guest house offers a rare and authentic experience of traditional Newari architecture and living culture. With beautifully preserved wooden craftsmanship, traditional courtyards, and a warm atmosphere, our guest house provides a unique stay that blends history, comfort, and culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day guest house operations
• Develop and implement promotional strategies to attract guests and increase bookings
• Promote the guest house through marketing and outreach to increase bookings and visibility
• Build strong network and relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, and online platforms
• Ensure exceptional guest experience
• Handle administrative tasks including budgeting, detailed records, reporting, and staff coordination
• Maintain the cultural and aesthetic integrity of the heritage building

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Hospitality Management
• Proven experience in hospitality, tourism, or hotel management
• Strong administrative and organizational skills
• Marketing and promotional experience (especially digital and social media)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt to flexible hours
• Knowledge of social enterprise and/or working with humanitarian organizations is a plus
• Passionate about cultural preservation, tourism, and guest care

Preferred:

• Experience working with international guests and platforms like Booking.com, Expedia, Agoda etc. & other online travel agencies
• Experience with cultural heritage tourism
• Fluency in English and Nepali (additional languages an asset)
