Tarangini Mahila Adhikar Prashikshyan Kendra (Tarangini Foundation), established in 2017, is a non-profit organization working to advance women's rights through feminist movement documentation, self-care promotion, and Feminist Mentoring that strengthens self-representative feminist leadership.

Field Program Officer (1)

Duty Station: Kavrepalanchowk

Required Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Gender Studies, Development Studies, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant work experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, monitor, and report project activities in coordination with the Program Coordinator and partners organization.
• Coordinate with local governments, women's groups, community organizations, media, and other stakeholders.
• Facilitate training, workshops, mentoring sessions, campaigns, and community dialogues.
• Conduct field monitoring, collect project data, document success stories, and prepare reports in Nepali and English.
• Support proposal development, advocacy initiatives, networking, and organizational communication.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with organizational standards.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of gender equality, women's rights, feminism, and social inclusion.
• Facilitation, communication, coordination, and report-writing skills.
• Experience in field monitoring, documentation, and data collection.
• Good command of Microsoft Office and digital communication tools.
• Ability to work independently and in teams, with frequent field travel.
• Commitment to safeguarding, accountability, confidentiality, and ethical practice.

आवश्यक योग्यता

• सामाजिक विज्ञान, लैङ्गिक अध्ययन, विकास अध्ययन वा सम्बन्धित विषयमा स्नातक ।
• सम्बन्धित क्षेत्रमा कम्तीमा २–३ वर्षको कार्य अनुभव ।

मुख्य जिम्मेवारी

• कार्यक्रम संयोजक तथा साझेदारसँग समन्वय गरी कार्यक्रम योजना, कार्यान्वयन, अनुगमन तथा प्रतिवेदन तयार गर्ने ।
• स्थानीय सरकार, महिला समूह, सामुदायिक संस्था, सञ्चारमाध्यम तथा अन्य सरोकारवालासँग समन्वय गर्ने ।
• तालिम, कार्यशाला, मेन्टरिङ, अभियान तथा सामुदायिक संवाद सञ्चालन गर्ने ।
• फिल्ड अनुगमन, तथ्याङ्क संकलन, सफलताका कथा तथा प्रतिवेदन नेपाली र अंग्रेजीमा तयार गर्ने ।
• प्रस्ताव विकास, पैरवी, सञ्जाल विस्तार तथा संस्थागत सञ्चारमा सहयोग गर्ने ।
• परियोजनासम्बन्धी अभिलेख तथा आवश्यक कागजात व्यवस्थित राख्ने ।

आवश्यक सीप

• लैङ्गिक समानता, महिला अधिकार, महिलावादी सिद्धान्त तथा सामाजिक समावेशीकरणबारे राम्रो ज्ञान ।
• सहजीकरण, समन्वय, सञ्चार तथा प्रतिवेदन लेखन सीप ।
• फिल्ड अनुगमन, तथ्याङ्क संकलन तथा अभिलेखीकरणको अनुभव ।
• Microsoft Office तथा डिजिटल सञ्चार माध्यमको ज्ञान ।
• टिम तथा स्वतन्त्र रूपमा काम गर्न सक्ने, नियमित फिल्ड भ्रमण गर्न इच्छुक ।
• संरक्षण (Safeguarding), जवाफदेहिता, गोपनीयता तथा नैतिक आचरणप्रति प्रतिबद्ध ।
