EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) NOTICE

For Facilitation of 8-Day Mediator Training

1. Introduction

The Collective Campaign for Child Rights Karnali Province (CCR-Karnali), an alliance-based civil society network working for the promotion and protection of child rights, invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from qualified and experienced firms or individual consultants to design and facilitate an 8-day Mediator Training accredited by the National Mediation Council.

2. Objective of Assignment

The main objective of this assignment is to build the capacity of CCR-Karnali member organizations by equipping participants with certified mediation skills, with a strong focus on child-sensitive and rights-based approaches.

3. Scope of Work

The selected firm/consultant will be responsible for:

• Designing and delivering an 8-day accredited mediation training
• Ensuring compliance with National Mediation Council standards
• Incorporating child rights and child protection perspectives
• Conducting practical sessions, simulations, and case exercises
• Providing a final training report

4. Participants and Venue

• Participants: 25 (one from each member organization)
• Location: Surkhet, Karnali Province
• Duration: 8 consecutive days

5. Eligibility Criteria

Interested applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Accreditation/affiliation with the National Mediation Council
• Minimum 3 similar training experiences
• Proven expertise in mediation and child rights
• Availability of qualified facilitators / Included 2 CV for key faciliators.

6. Required Documents

Applicants must submit the following:

1. Application/Cover Letter
2. Affiliation Certificate from National Mediation Council
3. Company/Organization Registration Certificate with renewal
4. PAN/VAT Registration Certificate and Tax Clearance (FY 2081/082 or 2082/083)
5. CVs of at least two key facilitators
6. Evidence of at least three similar assignments
7. Self-declaration letter (not blacklisted and no involvement in child rights violations)
8. Technical proposal including training approach and schedule
9. Financial proposal with detailed budget breakdown

7. Evaluation Criteria

A. Technical Evaluation

• Relevant experience and institutional capacity
• Qualification and expertise of facilitators
• Quality and relevance of proposed methodology
• Accreditation compliance

B. Financial Evaluation

• Cost-effectiveness and clarity of budget
• Logical distribution of costs (facilitation, travel, accommodation, etc.)

9. Additional Information

1. Detailed guidelines for the preparation of the technical and financial proposals will be provided upon request. Interested applicants may request the EOI guideline via email at cso@ccrkarnali.org.np no later than April 12, 2026, by 12:00 PM (midday). 
2. CCR-Karnali reserves the right to accept or reject any or all applications without assigning any reason whatsoever. 
3. Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted for further evaluation.
