People Promote Center (PPC), Dhanusha is a nonprofit, non-government, and nonpolitical humanitarian and development organization working in all eight districts of the Madhesh Province. It is registered in District Administration Office, Dhanusha and is affiliated with Social Welfare Council, Nepal. The core working themes of the organization are education, WASH, DRR, Health, governance and advocacy and gender issues. The organization's target groups include children, girls, adolescents, women, youth, and people with disability and other marginalized groups. The organization has been working with governments, development organizations (I/NGOs), and private sectors.

PPC is seeking a dynamic professional to lead the implementation, monitoring and quality assurance of gender-responsive and climate-resilient education initiatives in partnership with the province and local governments, and development partners in the Madhesh province.

Position: Education Officer

Nos of Position: 1

Location: Madhesh Province

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement, and monitor education programmes, ensuring quality results and efficient use of resources.
  • Support the province and local governments in developing, executing, and monitoring school education sector plans, child-friendly school (CFS) including safe school interventions.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and facilitate joint monitoring, advocacy, and resource mobilization.
  • Prepare reports, case studies, and other documents as per the programme and organizational requirements.
  • Support education in emergencies initiatives as relevant.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Education or related field.
  • Proven experience in education sector, programme planning, implementation, monitoring and coordination.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and networking skills.
  • Proficiency in Nepali and English; local languages of Madhesh Province preferred.

To implement its current project on education, PPC is looking for qualified, dynamic and self-motivated Nepali citizens for the following positions.

Selection Process:
